Live Streaming Weddings: Move Over Gamers
The wedding trend for Summer 2020 is downsizing. Due to Covid-19 safety precautions, couples are downsizing the number of people at their weddings. However, just because the guest list is smaller does not mean you have to leave anyone out of your big day. Live streaming weddings allow everyone to be a part of your wedding whether they are attending in person or not. There are plenty of services to choose from out there depending on the number of people you want to include. There are many options also, depending on the quality of the live stream couples are looking for.
Skype
Skype is one of the most well-known video-calling services. Skype is a great free option if you are just trying to include one person. To include more people, you will have to sign up for Skype Premium at $10 per month. Skype Premium allows group chats with up to 10 people. For live streaming to larger crowds you will need a different service.
HangWith
HangWith is a free mobile app for Android and iOS to stream live video with any number of people. With a click of a button, you can send an invitation to all of your guests. During the event, viewers can chat with text appearing on the screen for the iPhone videographer to see. This would be good for a less formal wedding or elopement. Some people would like a more professional look than live streaming from a phone, no matter how nice that phone is.
YouTube
There are more polished ways to share your big day such as YouTube Live Stream. The wedding is broadcast using an on-site webcam and WiFi. Couples can schedule and stream the event live on YouTube to bring everyone together. Google offers simple and clear instructions on how to set up, test, and manage your live stream so everything runs smoothly. Make sure you send out a live streaming announcement and test the equipment ahead of time.
I Do Stream
For those that want all of the professional equipment for the best possible live stream quality, I Do Stream is the best option. They allow up to 50 simultaneous viewers and the event is available to watch for 90 days. I Do Stream also gives you evites, an online guestbook, and allows chat among the guests during the event. They also provide all the equipment you need (camcorder, tripod, etc.) to professionally broadcast your wedding events online. You can even rent a laptop with built-in broadband wireless in case the wedding venue does not have an Internet connection. Packages with all of the equipment start at $595. They also have 300 videographers across the country that you can hire through them. They think of everything so you don’t have to on your big day.
We Specialize in All-Inclusive
At first, we thought all-inclusive meant just having all the infrastructure ready to go for the couple, so what looks like such a simply beautiful, largely outdoor wedding could be as clean and simple as the lines of the tent. There should be no hassles about getting in all the infrastructure and having it ready for your wedding. We did not want to witness a rental truck showing up at the last minute and a mom or bridesmaid, or the couple themselves, setting up chairs and tables–even mowing the yard–on the morning of the wedding. These were all things Jeanne witnessed repeatedly over the years. No wonder people were exhausted before their wedding even began…
